Navlekha a new platform launched by Google.Google has announced project Navlekha during Google India event held at New Delhi which will enable Publishers to post or publish their content in their regional languages.

World bank has decided to grant 250 million dollar loan to Indian state Rajasthan. This loan will help Rajasthan to improve the Electricity Distribution sector under 24 X 7 power for all. This loan will be part of ibrd and has a grace period of 3 years.

The new name for Google's digital payments service is Google pay. Prior to this it was known as Google TEZ. Google pay will now grant online consumer loan with the help of four Indian banks namely HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Federal Bank.

Countrie's first biofuel powered flight tested successfully. The fuel was developed by Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun -CSIR. The flight was charged with 75 % turbine fuel atf and 25% bio Jet fuel. Advantage - Less carbon emission and more fuel efficiency. The trial was done by SpiceJet flight from Dehradun to Delhi.

A book on Atal Bihari Vajpayee named "Atal Ji Ne Kaha" authored by Brijendra was launched. It includes message by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The book has collection of speeches, photographs, interviews of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

He replaced Tathagata Roy.
 Prior to this he served as governor of Haryana. 




•Satyadev Narayan Arya -Haryana.
He replaced kaptan Singh Solanki 


•Baby Rani Maurya -Uttarakhand.
He replaced KK Paul.

•Ganga Prasad –SIKKIM .He replaced Shrinivas Patil.
Prior to this he was governor of Meghalaya. 


•Tathagata Roy -Meghalaya. He replaced Ganga Prasad. 

                       Prior to this he was governor of Tripura.

RBI hikes repo rate from 6.25% to 6.50%. Prior to this in 2018 the repo rate was increased from 6.0%to 6.25 %.
